OCS Third Winter / Forgotten Battles Thread

Post by Madison » Mon Oct 29, 2018 1:30 am

So does anyone know for certain if Marcus and company are coming and bringing this? It's large, as large as the GMT EFS series all together. It will require about 10 players to manage properly and I'm guessing based upon what I have been seeing thus far that there won't be enough people pushing counters on this to make the turns go by at any sense of reasonable pace.

Who's in on this and committed?

John,
I would have thought Marcus would have posted something by now. Surprised he hasn’t. Dave should know. Rather than wait for him to see it here (or not) why don’t you email him directly?

Hi all
Myself and Mark will be coming again with TTW and I hope that Tony the designer will come with us with TFB....also my friend Chip from Alabama will be with us.
This means that as Dave suggested in an earlier post we will need at least 10 players but I think 12 would be better as one man per side will become CinC and will have to allocate all resources to the different fronts, do all the rebuilding and also fight the battles with the Partisans. This is a huge undertaking to play due to its size and scope...…….it also includes the Crimean Front (lots of wonderful Rumanian troops down there.
I am trying to tie all the flights and hire cars together and after this weekend should have a clearer picture as to where we are at.
Will post again later...………………….Cheers...………………….Marc.

Tony appears to be having trouble getting in. Can a mod shoot him an e-mail?
