And while I'm logged in, any takers for Bella Rosarum v3?
The map has been up at BGG for a few months now - hope you all like it - so if I could get another 2-5 other players, that would be great.
I would be happy to produce a large map (out of airtransportable silk) for the Fest; maybe even get the card deck professionally done too.

'Bella Rosarum' didn't come up on BGG. Is this new map the one shown in SOS instead?

I'm committed to another big game. Sorry I can't participate.

Bella Rosarum is a remake of Kingmaker.

Look under the file uploads and forum sections.

Time commitment isn't huge for this game.
If you've played Kingmaker before, it'll be very easy to play.
Otherwise, I would rate it low-medium complexity compared to the monster games we typically play.
I'm just gauging interest at this stage.

Please let me know what you are missing for total War......I have a lot of both post 2010 materials as well as playtesters “ Blitzkreig unending files” I can Bering along from the UK hopefully. I have played the game with production this year

Kevin, I'm been looking at Under An Iron Sky on BGG and wherever else I can find information: I am interested in this as a big/main game. Do you have a scan of the rules or charts or really anything that would help explain how the game actually works? There's clearly going to be a learning curve.

Greg, glad to hear that you're planning on attending this year. I would spend an evening with Bella Rosarum. If you're serious about Total War, I'd be interested to see what rules you have for it.

I would only be willing to play this game if others committed to it, as I already have DAK2 I want to play as a Big Game. I believe Iron Sky is a remake/next gen version of SPI's Next War

Here is a link to the rules and charts:

Kevin:

I'm up for DAK2 if you are. I have a game going in that is in early '41 now...one thing to consider is if you'd want to skip the initial Italian offensive or not. That part is fairly one sided and a bit of an accounting exercise (to meet the Mussolini objectives), but I'm flexible either way.

Kevin,

I've looked enough: if you would like to play 1985: UaIS, I am committed to it. I believe Lee Hanna would also be enthusiastic.

That said, you may already be scheduling DAK. If you're going to DAK, please PLEASE PLEASE bring 1985 and let me look through it. I'll try to drum up support to make it a main game for 2020.

Greg

I'd be up for playing Bella R again. I sent you an email regarding Bella and other gaming options.

For those interested in Total War, I have all the maps, all the counters (punched and sorted), the starting OBs for both sides, and the official LW reinforcement schedule. Indeed, I have played TW up to about AUG I 41, after which I stopped since I had no Soviet reinforcements scheduled. I was working on filling in the gaps as far as the reinforcement schedules, using those from SE, but modified with more recent research, especially the timing of the new Soviet rifle divisions, as well as the mech/tank ones.
Coming from CA, it will be hard to bring all the bulky physical components, but if others were to provide them (I am surely not the only one to have the maps and counters), I could bring the other stuff, including the Leopard CRT (which is far superior to the outdated RAW one).
And being the lover of chrome that I am, I also have the historical LW OOB and starting locations (which took me several weeks to research), as well as some redone Eng, Art, and Pz XX units. I could easily bring along these few extra counters that I made - they look pretty good and they rectify some minor problems with the RAW counters.
