Food Logistics and Other Things

Post by Madison » Tue Feb 03, 2015 9:14 pm

It seems we are always forgetting one thing or another, so I thought I'd start a list of things to think about for Winterfest.

Lighting

Unless you're on the back wall under the track lights you don't get enough. I have to camera tripods I was thinking of bringing. If we could jury rig some decent light to each we would be better off seeing the maps.

Necessities

Coffee pot
Cutting Board (for limes)
Coffee
Bottle Opener (wine and beer)

Grocery Fund

I propose everyone simply pitch in 20.00 for a big Saturday grocery run and we can make a list. This way everyone has easy access to the food without worry that unsupplied player cadre's are eating tree bark soup on your dollar.

For the new guys showing up or people who are in and out like larpers and can't stay the entire week, we could have a coffee can donation jar to pitch in on the food.

Things I'm bringing

BluRay Player
Movies: Generation War, Fury and a few others
Laptop
Sonos Play5 for Music (its blue tooth so if you have music and a smart phone/laptop you can get the app and play from your device to it.
Gin/Tonic/Limes/Wine
Some condiments (Mayo, Mustard, Salt and Pepper, Cutting Board, Opener, Knife)
Troys Kharkov Book
GMT's EFS Maps
Loaded dice so I can beat the Germans and push them back into Poland by August of 41.

I've got the coffee pot, will bring it in and leave for the duration.

I also have a machete that can be used for chopping the limes, and for cutting the tops off the beer and wine bottles.

And hair cuts if desired.

Dave you're not in charge of making coffee. If you need an oil change fellas, have Dave make a pot of his coffee for you, its about a 5w30 consistency.

Fair enough!

Tell ya what, I'll just bring the pot and someone else can measure the scoops. I'll leave the snow shovel at home!

I will throw money into the food kitty for my half-week.

I can't think of anything that I will be bringing beyond games.

John, do you have the Klieg lights or just the tripods?

I've got a table clamp florescent I use sometimes for projects, but not much else in the way of mobile lighting.

John - your suggestions are all good. I am in for the kitty. Anyone want moonshine? I can get Blueberry and Cherry.
