Re: It's Time for "Who's Doing What at Winterfest?" Again!!

At this point, still waiting for the transmission of theThird Winter (Hube's Pocket) play test kit.

As long as it arrives by the end of January I will have
Time to assemble it.

If it doesn't arrive in time I will play in the Bulge Campaign
as an Allied player, or Troy's assistant as a German.

Re: OCS Games Only

Here is yet another OCS option. I am one of the initial playtesters for the OCS Hube's Pocket replacement. This game is a huge 4 map expansion of the campaign. The scenario to be tested in coming months is the September 1943 start which has the Red Army pursuit of the Germans to the Dnepr and the in...

Re: Games for 2016

I mean 3 Allied and 2 German. However, if you have
3 Allies you will need an Ike to fire Monty.

Re: Games for 2016

Lee played very well commanding against Patton in the September 5 Beyond the Rhine. At this point we are planning a Bulge start date through The Rhine crossing. I want to play any of the Allied armies But will play German with Troy, if others want an Allied command. The game works best with two Germ...

Re: Games for 2016

After feeling badly for several days over Jim's passing, a trip up to Sandusky was just what the MD ordered. Allen Beach and myself were able to renew some old friendships and meet some new people. I for one was very impressed with the progress made on AW by Merv, Shawn, Tom and Dave. Getting to Jun...

Re: Atlantic Wall prep

Tom, That is an excellent posting. A group of us, including Doug Johnson, playtested Wacht I at a couple Consim Expos and at Origins. Your response has given me some insight into what Joe is doing in this design. Now, some new conclusions based on a lot of conversations with Joe and Doug are falling...

Re: Atlantic Wall prep

Tom,

How does it compare with La Bataille?

By the way, what determines the stripes?

Re: Atlantic Wall prep

Hi Merv,

I hope you are right because Joe's designs are superb when someone is controlling his "creative genius". We had a great time with Wacht. I was just pulled away by La Bataille, Line of Battle, and OCS.
