Re: Big Games for "Winerfest" 2020!
I agree with TEJ’s (whoever he is). If a scenario is available for the liberation of the Leningrad region, that would be interesting. The Forgotten Battles linked with TTW would be fun as the two campaigns are naturally linked. Depending on interest, two German and two Soviet players for TTW coupled...

Re: Big Games for "Winerfest" 2020!
I can understand Mr Madison’s concern with the Third Winter northern extensions. The 3 hour gaps and downtime in these big East Front games are problematic enough. When you compound that with playing a quiet part of the front, it can make the entire experience tedious. However, the opportunity to in...

Urge all OCS players to seriously consider taking a

Re: Time For Trumpets -- Pre-release Sorta Playtest Opportunity!!
All, The three people I mentioned about playing Time for Trumpets are all out of state first time attendees. If anyone is interested in playing this for the week, I can assure you that Ricc, Bill and Rick are great guys and you will have a blast all week. So if Dave Morris can produce the game it wo...

Re: Time For Trumpets -- Pre-release Sorta Playtest Opportunity!!
I have observed this game being played at Tempe over the last several years. It will not be interesting if more than 4 players total are involved. So far the new guys coming are Ric Digirolami, Rick Kurtz, and Bill Quoss. If Dave Morris or Will Willow can commit to the game for the week that would b...

Re: OCS Third Winter/Forgotten Battles
My proposal would be to have an overall commander for each side.
This person will allocate supply and troop distributions for Fronts and Panzer Armies. Four on a side will work if Forgotten Battles is in play. So that would translate to 10 gamers.

2019 Winterfest OCS
Looks like all the guys from England will be at Winterfest this year. This includes the Designer Tony Birkett. I was privilege of to see Third Winter and The Forgotten Battles linked up in Tempe. The games covers AGC and AGS from late September 43 until April of 44. It is a massive 8 map simulation ...

Re: 2019 Game Interests
Looks like Ricc DiGirolami, Rick Kurtz, and Bill Quoss from Out of state, will be attending. They are looking for players in the new Bulge game, A Time for Trumpets, coming out from GMT, before the end of Dec. 2018. I am probably going to be involved in OCS. It looks like the guys from England, havi...
